Helen Wohlgemuth, Legal Administrator

Helen Wohlgemuth has more than 29 years of business experience and has been our practice manager since 1989. Her many responsibilities include preparing billing statements and processing payments. She is available to answer questions about our clients' individual accounts, establishing payment plans and resolving any concerns.

Rebecca Frieseman, Paralegal

Rebecca Frieseman earned her B.S. in the Legal Assistant Program at Madonna University, worked in various areas of law before deciding to focus on family law. Rebecca's strengths are her ability to listen and to respond to clients. Her goal is to be a calming and informative presence in a time that can be filled with uncertainty and turmoil.

Penny Esch, Paralegal

Penny Esch’s ability to be a good listener and her sound organizational skills make her an effective liaison between clients and their attorney. She is enthusiastic and handles difficult situations well. Effective problem solving is another of her many strengths, and she is particularly effective in helping clients make the transition into their new phase of life.

Melissa Phillips, Legal Secretary and Scheduling Coordinator

Legal Secretary and Scheduling Coordinator , Melissa Phillips will arrange your scheduled time with your attorney. In addition, Melissa serves as an assistant to the paralegal team and the office manager.  Melissa has many years of administrative experience with professional service firms and holds a real estate license. Her commitment to excellent client service fits well with our practice approach. An efficient mult-tasker, Melissa also serves as administrator for the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan, which is headquartered in our Ann Arbor office.
